Nurse Practitioner / Cardiology or Vascular

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✔️ Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required
✔️ Experience in cardiology, vascular surgery/medicine, or general surgery (RN vascular experience considered)
✔️ Proficient in EHR, cardiac diagnostics (EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols
✔️ Strong communicator with empathy, teamwork, and adaptability

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct patient histories and physical exams; manage acute and chronic conditions (heart failure, CAD, hypertension, PAD)
✔️ Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (ECGs, echocardiograms, vascular studies)
✔️ Perform specialty procedures (wound care, suture removal, cardioversion assistance, vascular access management)
✔️ Coordinate care across physicians, surgeons, rehab staff, and other providers
✔️ Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
✔️ Maintain accurate EHRs, document encounters, and manage long-term follow-ups
