About the clinician's workday
The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through 24-hour coverage managing approximately 400 deliveries annually and 5 calls per night and weekend. Primary responsibilities include obstetric floor management with CNM team support, operative vaginal and cesarean delivery, high risk pregnancy consultation via telehealth with MFM, and emergency room coverage for gynecological emergencies including D&C and ectopic management. The position requires flexible scheduling of alternating or consecutive days with typical weekend coverage of 48-72 hours, weekday coverage including L&D support, inpatient rounding, ER coverage, and 10am-5pm clinic coverage.
