Job description

Highlights:

High-volume opportunity with full scope interventional and general cardiology
Consistent schedule requiring at least 3 weeks per month
Flexible licensing options including IMLC and IA license assistance

Opportunity Details:

Location: Iowa
Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
Schedule: Minimum 3 weeks per month (full-time providers preferred)
Setting: Mix of clinic and inpatient

Work Details:

Clinic: 12–15 patients per day
Inpatient rounding/consults: 5–10 per day
Call: Variable with some general call coverage required
Callback: ~4–6 hours on weekdays (varies)
EMR: Epic

Procedures Include:

Diagnostic cath, angioplasty, stenting
Stress echo, nuclear stress testing
Echo, Holter and event monitor interpretation
TEE and cardioversions

Requirements:

Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
Active license or IMLC accepted (IA license assistance available)

Credentialing:

Approx. 60 days
