Locum Emergency Medicine need in Maine

Job description

Location: Maine
Rate: Hourly
Expenses: As needed.
Schedule: They prefer someone that's in the New England area that's more local to them since the open shifts are sporadic each month.
They need someone that can pick up shifts consistently each month, minimum 5-7 SPM (more is appreciated).
Shift times: 9hr shifts (9a-6p, 2p-11p, 3p-12a, and 11p-8a)
Other information: Level II trauma, 1.2-1.4 Patients per hour, no call, BC required
Credentialing and licensing can be expedited for clean files, otherwise 8-10 weeks. IMLC/LOQ OR ME LICENSED PROVIDERS ONLY.

Flu shot will be required – state of Maine mandate for all healthcare workers

Coverage Dates: they have ongoing needs, preference 5-7 spm
• Shift Schedule: 9a-6p shift or 2p-11p shift or 11p-8a shift or 3p-12a
• Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No calls
• Type of Patients/Cases: Level II Trauma in the Emergency Department
• Patients per Day/Volume: 1.2 to 1.4 per hour
• Certifications/Qualifications required: must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• EMR: SCM
• Support Staff: Yes
• Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks but can be expedited for CLEAN FILES
• Will license while credentialing: Yes (for clean files)
• Responsible of Mid-Level Providers: N/A
• Back up Specialties to EM Department: N/A
• Volume:55,000

• Miscellaneous Information: Providers in Service include: 23 doctors and 3 Physicians Assistants
Annual Volume: $55,000 PPD
