Locums Gastroenterologist needed in CA-May 25th 7a-May 30th

Job description

Assignment Details:
• Start Date: May 25, 2026
• End Date: May 30, 2026
• Schedule:
○ 7:00 AM May 25 – 7:00 AM May 30
○ Daily hospital rounding during business hours
○ 24/7 ED call coverage throughout assignment

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Inpatient consults and hospitalist GI coverage
• Emergency procedures only
• Average patient volume: 10–15 per day
• Procedures may include:
○ Emergency ERCP (required)
○ EGD / endoscopy
○ Colonoscopy (as needed in emergency settings)

Facility & Practice Details:
• Acute care hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient population: Adult
• Role: GI Hospitalist with ED call coverage
