About the clinician's workday

The physician associate will provide cardiovascular surgery call coverage and hospital coverage working 7-10 days per month in blocks. The role requires first assist capabilities for surgery in the OR and taking night call with emergency surgery response when locum clinicians are present. The clinician will utilize eClinical Works EMR and work collaboratively with 1 mid-level and 1 RN support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
