Psychiatry Opportunity (Outpatient | Hybrid Schedule)

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Psychiatrist to join a well-established outpatient practice in South Georgia. This is a straightforward, structured position with a consistent weekday schedule and a supportive clinical environment.

Position Details:

- Location= 1 hour East of Columbus, GA
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid schedule (combination of in-person and remote work)
- Patient population: 95% Adult, 5% Child & Adolescent
- No call requirements

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
- Provide medication management and monitor patient progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical staff and support team to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient education and support for treatment adherence

Qualifications:

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry preferred
- Experience working with adult populations (minimal adolescent exposure required)
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare patient populations required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
