Job description

Cardiothoracic Surgery PA locum opportunity in Pleasanton, CA available. This is a full-scope role across OR, ICU, and clinic with call responsibilities.

Schedule:
• Start: May 2026
• Ongoing (6-month commitment preferred)
• 6:00am – 6:00pm shifts
• Scheduled + call (1 night/week + 1 weekend/month)

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Mix of OR, ICU, floor, and clinic responsibilities
• First/second assist in CT surgery cases
• Opportunity for vein and artery harvesting
• Collaborative surgical team environment

Requirements:
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active CA license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS required
• CT surgery experience required (harvesting experience preferred)

Credentialing:
• Temporary privileges available (~30 days)
• Full credentialing: 3–4 months
