Flexible 3x13 schedule (days or nights)

Opportunity Details: CVICU/CTICU Physician Assistant (Virginia)

Start: June/July 2026
Schedule: 3 x 13-hour shifts (7a–8p or 7p–8a)
Must be comfortable working both days and nights

Facility Details:

703-bed Level 1 Trauma Center
12-bed Cardiothoracic ICU
After-hours cross coverage of PCU

Work Details:

Write progress notes and provide primary management for immediate post-op patients, including thoracic surgery cases
High-acuity patient population
Procedural skills preferred (intubations handled by anesthesia)
Must have LVAD and ECMO experience

Requirements:

Prefer cardiothoracic surgery ICU experience
Ability to practice independently in high-acuity settings

Will consider candidates without a Virginia license (licensure assistance available), though licensed providers are preferred
