Cardiothoracic Surgery PA | Orange, CA | OR + Call

Job description

Cardiothoracic Surgery PA locum opportunity in Orange, CA available. This is a full-time hospital-based role with OR, rounding, and call responsibilities.

Schedule:
• Start: June 2026
• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm (OR + rounding)
• Night call: 6:00pm – 6:00am

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Cardiothoracic surgery service (CABG, transplants, VADs, thoracic cases)
• First assist in OR with attending surgeon
• Inpatient rounding and post-op management
• Procedures include chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, and CXR interpretation
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active CA license (licensing not available)
• BLS and ACLS required
• 1–2 years cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Vein harvesting experience preferred

Credentialing:
• Approximately 30–45 days
