An outpatient primary care clinic is seeking a family medicine nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
In Klamath Falls, Oregon, explore the enchanting scenery at Crater Lake National Park, known for its stunning deep-blue lake and hiking trails.
The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week and must include weekend coverage. Providers will rotate between opening (starting at 7:30 AM for an 8:00 AM patient start) and closing shifts (starting at 10:00 AM with the last patient typically leaving around 8:30 PM). The position is open to experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistantsno new gradswith an active Oregon license and DEA. There is no call required. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and skilled in procedures such as suturing, casting/splinting, toenail removal, and abscess drainage. The patient population includes all ages, averaging about 3 patients per hour. EPIC is the EMR system in use, and while COVID/Flu vaccination is preferred, it is not required. Credentialing typically takes 13 months and does not involve committee review.
