CRNA Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Hospital in Stuart, Florida

A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
In Stuart, Florida, you can enjoy a day of leisure at Bathtub Beach, known for its calm waters and excellent snorkeling opportunities. For those interested in art and culture, a visit to the Stuart Heritage Museum or a stroll through the vibrant downtown area with its quaint shops and galleries can be both delightful and engaging.
The team consists of 4 MDs and 33 CRNAs, with shifts scheduled for 5-8s and no call required for locums. The facilities include 7 ORs, 3 Endo Rooms, 2 Interventional Radiology Sites, and 2 OB ORs, handling a total of 22,617 annual surgical cases. Cases cover a range of specialties, including general, OB, pediatrics, vascular, and neuro, but exclude cardiac and pain management. The CRNAs work in a predominantly medically-directed environment (99%) and encounter a busy mix of OB, orthopedics, extensive regional anesthesia, ENT, healthy pediatrics, neuro, thoracic, urology, and gastro cases, but no cardiac cases. CRNAs are responsible for pushing their own medications and perform epidural and spinal placements but do not handle extremity blocks.
