Inpatient Psychiatrist (C/A) – 30 hrs/week – Massachusetts
Medical Director Option Available

An intensive residential treatment program for adolescents (ages 13–18) in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist for a flexible 30-hour/week position. This secured facility serves as a vital step-down from acute inpatient care, with typical stays ranging from 1 month to 1 year and a daily caseload of just 5–6 patients.

The role includes 20 hours/week of clinical care and staff collaboration, plus 10 hours/week of interdisciplinary leadership and planning. You’ll work closely with a skilled nursing team, support staff, and organizational leadership. The environment is team-oriented, mission-driven, and built on strong communication and continuity of care.

Position Highlights:

30 hours/week (clinical + collaborative time)

Two long-term residential units (15 beds each)

Adolescents ages 13–18

Secure facility, step-down from critical care

Average daily caseload of 5–6

Occasional remote on-call (video OK for restraint sign-off)

Option to step into a Medical Director role

ASAP start – 6-month contract
