Psychiatrist Medical Director Needed In Bay Area!!! ASAP

Job description

• Medical Director Position-opporunity for clinical work as well if available 32 hours/week-see below
• LOCUM TO PERM ONLY-3 MONTH LOCUM COMMITMENT
• Adults 18-65 yrs
• 16-20 hours/week
• up to 32 hours/week IF candidate wants more hours, they can cover one unit in additon to med dir responsiblities
• if candidate works 32 hours/week, the perm position would be considered FT and Benefit Eligible
• three month locums commitment
• Must be onsite Mondays for provider meetings; M-W-F ideal if only working 16-20 hours/week(4-8 hours/day)
• 90 day program
• major mental illness and no primary diagnosis of eating disorder, character disorder, organic mental disorder, or need for detoxification
• strong clinical support-multidisciplinary staff of clinicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapist, residential counselor and peers on-site and on-call 24 hours a day to provide wraparound support.
• will be responsible for oversight Psy and PNPs
• BC not required-experience is priority
