Job description

An Ambulatory Surgery Center in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a CRNA for ongoing locum coverage. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to practice independently as the sole anesthesia provider.

Compensation
$230/hour
$200 daily stipend
8-hour daily guarantee

Assignment Overview
Start: ASAP
Length: Ongoing through 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Minimum commitment: 2 days per week

Practice Setting
Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
Solo CRNA practice
Adult patient population only (18+)
EMR: NextGen (training provided)

Case Mix
Vascular procedures
Regional anesthesia
Upper extremity nerve blocks required
No heads, hearts, or OB cases.

Case Volume
7–10 procedures per day
Surgical days may have 3–4 longer cases

Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Minimum 3 years of experience
ACLS (or ALS) and BLS required
Experience with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks

Preferred experience:
ESRD patient population
Comfort practicing independently as the only anesthesia provider
