New Opportunity Located in Northern VA with Aya Locums: CRNA

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA for an assignment at a Level II trauma facility in Northern Virginia, working between the main hospital and ambulatory surgery center.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: TBD (after credentialing)
• Contract Length: 6 or 12 months preferred
• Schedule: Blocked schedule, Sunday–Saturday rotation
• Shift Details: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00a–7:00p), typically Monday–Wednesday
• Weekly Hours: 36–40 hours per week
• Call: 1 call shift per 8-week schedule (7:00p–7:00a or weekend call 8:00a–3:00p)
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available for one holiday shift (Sign up or sign in for contact informationx hourly rate)
• OT: Paid after scheduled shift (not after 40 hours)
• Scheduling: Set 8 weeks in advance; up to 3 schedule requests per period (not guaranteed)

Work Details
• Supervision Model: 4:1 medical direction
• Patient Population: Adult and healthy pediatrics
• Case Mix: OB, thoracic, EP, vascular, ortho, GI, ENT, dental, and general cases
• Exclusions: No transplant cases
• Spinals and epidurals required
• No regional blocks required

Requirements
• License: Active Virginia license required at submission
• Experience: Minimum 2 years required
• Trauma Experience: Level II trauma, OB, and thoracic experience required
• Pediatric Experience: Preferred (healthy peds)
• Certifications: AHA certifications required
