DESCRIPTION:
Types of OR cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Gyn, ENT, Robot, Urology, GI, no cardiac
• Required Procedures: OR: Nerve Blocks
• OR Patients/day: 3-9 cases
Types of OB cases: Epidural, Spinal, Cesarean Section, rare D&C or Cesarean Hysterectomy
• Deliveries per month ~250-300
• Epidural, Spinal
• 5-10 procedures in 24 hrs.
• Support Staff: Other MD/DO available during the day for help, anesthesia tech.
• EMR: Cerner

REQUIRED:
• CA state license; active, unrestricted
• Board Certified Anesthesia
• Other Certification: ACLS/BLS, DEA
• Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks for clean file, could be rushed if needed.

COMPENSATION:
• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided.

SCHEDULE:
• ASAP ongoing. MUST work at least 5 shifts in a row.
• Shift times for OR: 7am – 3pm or 7am-5pm 8 or 10 hr. shifts available M-F, 7a-7p Sat/Sun NO CALL
• Shift times for OB: 7pm-7am, No Call., in-house OB shift coverage. Mon-Sun, Mon-Fri, Fri-Sun. (Evening: must have recent OB experience: be able to perform Spinals, Epidurals, elective, urgent and STAT cesarean sections.)
• Shifts based on OR (or) L&D unit.
