Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum assignment at a Level I trauma hospital in Southern California.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: May 2026
• Contract Length: 3+ months
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends, no call
• Shift Details: 10-, 12-, or 14-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, or 12:30 PM

Work Details
• Support Staff: Medical direction model supervising CRNAs
• Department Description: General anesthesia cases including orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, neuro, ENT, vascular, and GI (no pediatrics)
• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center with high acuity
• EMR: Epic
• Special Procedures: Vent management, central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter placement; vascular cases (excluding open heart)

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active California license required (no licensing offered)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years required; local candidates only
• COVID vaccine required (booster not required)
