Job description

A healthcare facility in Indiana is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locums assignment beginning ASAP. This opportunity offers significant schedule flexibility, including options for physicians who prefer day shifts only or a mix of day shifts, OB coverage, and OR call.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage; call optional

Schedule:
• Standard day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 5 days per week
• Flexible schedule available
• Prefer mix of day shifts, OB shifts, and OR call
• Will consider 5-day day-shift–only candidates

Call Responsibilities (Negotiable):
• OR call: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Possible OB call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM (approximately once weekly)

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Work Details:
• Average 3–5 cases per day
• EMR: EPIC (experience preferred)
• OB epidurals and spinals required if taking call
• Arterial line and central line placement required if taking call

Requirements:
• Board Certification required
• Active Indiana medical license required
• DEA required (Indiana or transferable upon offer)

Credentialing:
• Approximately 90 days
• ASAP start once credentialing is complete
