A community hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

While on assignment in Northwestern Iowa, visit the Pikes Peak State Park, Del Moines Art Center, or Maquoketa Caves State Park for beautiful hiking trails and sightseeing!

About the clinician's workday

The schedule is Monday - Friday. 1 MDA is on vacation every week except 2 weeks per year, on post call every day, on call every day, on 2nd call every day, on day shift only then 2nd call Sunday, on 2nd call Saturday and then 1st call Sunday, and the other 3 MDAs have the weekend off. The cases include Surgical Adult, General Surgical cases - Pediatric, Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional Anesthesia, Plexus Anesthesia, Open Heart Anesthesia, Thoracic Cases (except Open Heart), complex Vascular cases (except Open Heart), complex Orthopedic cases, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Neurosurgical cases, Ventilation Management, Local Infiltration, and Cardiac experience is preferred.
