A large busy hospital is seeking a cardiac anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps.

About the clinician's workday

The schedule is Monday - Friday with 8s. The EMR system is EPIC. There are 500 cardiothoracic procedures a year in this 495-bed tertiary-care facility internationally acclaimed for excellence in clinical care, education, and scientific research. An active NY license is required. A BC or BE and fellowship trained in cardiac anesthesia and highly proficient in intraoperative TEE with NBE certification is required. The EMR system is EPIC. The clinician will be seeing very complex patients undergoing a wide variety of operations including CABG and valve procedures, structural cases, thoracic procedures, and complex electrophysiology procedures. The clinician will collaborate with colleagues in cardiac surgery, cardiology, and the intensive care unit.
