About the clinician's workday

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during Monday through Friday shifts with 8 or 10 hour scheduling options and no call requirements. The clinician will manage a mixed caseload of 60% pediatric and 40% adult cases, requiring comfort with sick pediatric patients. Adult cases include general surgery, trauma, and all specialties except cardiac/lung transplants and burn treatment, while pediatric cases encompass general surgery, trauma, urology, ENT, dental, plastics, orthopedic, neurology, MRI, and cardiac procedures. The position operates primarily through medical direction of CRNAs with opportunities to work with residents if desired.
