Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum assignment at a low-acuity facility in Southeast Virginia.

Assignment Details
• Start Dates: May 18–22; June 8–12; June 29–July 3; July 20–24 (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Weekend Call: July 4–5 (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Length: Per scheduled dates
• Schedule: Primarily weekday coverage with one weekend call assignment
• Shift Details: 10-hour day shifts
• Call Requirements: Beeper call (extremely light)

Work Details
• Case Mix: General, Orthopedics, Urology; must be proficient in regional anesthesia
• Facility Type: Low-acuity setting with no ICU and minimal emergency cases
• Supervision Model: MDs perform their own cases (no CRNA supervision)
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Virginia license required
• Experience: Must be comfortable performing own cases and regional anesthesia

Additional Notes
• Travel: $250/week car rental or mileage allowance
• Lodging: $110/day housing allowance
