Hiring: Chief Nursing Officer (Behavioral Health) | Westminster, CO

Are you a visionary nursing leader with a passion for behavioral health? We are looking for a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for our nursing department in Westminster, Colorado.

As the CNO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of biopsychosocial and cultural care while fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership: Direct, supervise, and evaluate all nursing personnel and clinical activities.
Strategic Planning: Develop long-term goals and protocols to meet regulatory and quality care standards.
Resource Management: Effectively manage staffing based on patient acuity and census.
Collaboration: Work alongside interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure holistic patient needs are met.
Advocacy: Role model exceptional customer service and resolve patient/family concerns with urgency.

What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing or Mental Health Nursing strongly preferred.
Experience: 6+ years of RN experience (10+ years preferred).
Specialization: At least 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Leadership: 3+ years of progressive nursing management or administrative experience.
Strong Preference: Prior CNO or Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a freestanding psychiatric hospital.
