LPC/LCSW- (Contract)
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Schedule: Part Time (2-10 hours per week).
Pay: $60/hour

About Us
RISE Corp is a therapeutic group home that provides structure, safety, and support for adolescent boys navigating emotional and behavioral challenges. We use a trauma-informed care model to help youth build healthy relationships, life skills, and independence.
This position requires candidates to be actively licensed in Colorado as an LPC or LCSW.

Responsibilities
As a Therapist you’ll play a vital role in supporting and mentoring youth clients. Your key duties include:
Provide direct support to clients in a smaller therapeutic setting.
Participate in group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions and activities under supervision.
Conduct assessments and document client progress using appropriate medical terminology.
Engage with pediatric clients, employing age-appropriate strategies to promote mental well-being.
Support crisis management efforts by identifying signs of distress and implementing intervention strategies.
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and goal setting.
Collaborate with team members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain accurate records and coding of client interactions as per organizational standards.



Qualifications
Master's Degree from a certified Master’s program in psychology, counseling, social work, or other related human services degree.
An active LPC OR LCSW license in the state of Colorado
Familiarity with individual and family therapy dynamics and experience working with diverse populations, particularly children and adolescents.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Experience or coursework related to crisis management and direct support services is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in mental health care.
1-3 years of experience working in a therapeutic setting with adolescents as a licensed professional.
