Locum General Cardiologist needed for EP in Pennsylvania

Location: PA
Duration: Ongoing need. 60-90 days to credential
License: Active PA license or active IMLC/LOQ in hand
Rates: Hourly, with beeper/night all and hourly for call backs when on call
Expenses covered: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car
Need: General Cardiology MD/DO
Certifications required: BC-Cardiology, ACLS, minimum 1 yr experience and must have EP training
Dates needed: Working opposite perm physician to cover monthly schedule. Specific dates TBD. Hospital coverage Monday through Sunday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Call Schedule: Call is split between days 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and nights 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM every day of the week including weekends
Patient Volume: 2-8 consults daily, Follow-ups 2-6/day on average
Staffing Mix: Interventional cardiologist and intermittent EP
EMR – Meditech Expanse
Additional Information:

General cardiology - Inpatient for a community hospital.
Almost entirely consult based (we do not admit through the ED), only occasional post PCI or outpatient pacer/ICD and the interventional cardiologist/EP physician would admit them.
