Locum Nurse Practitioner -Cardiology needed in Oregon

CARDIOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER
POSITION OVERVIEW

Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period)

4 x 10’s schedule

Clinic hours: 0730–1630

Hospital hours: 0730–1630

50% inpatient, 50% inpatient

Nurse Practitioners currently complete weekly rotations between hospital and clinic (one week in hospital, next week in clinic, etc.)

Work week is Sunday–Saturday

PATIENT VOLUME

15–18 clinic patients per day

8–15 hospital patients per day

TEAM & PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT

4 physicians on staff

Assigned Medical Assistant to assist with managing patients

Triage RN team

Device clinic and dedicated device clinic staff

General cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology support

EPIC EMR

COMPENSATION & PAY STRUCTURE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED

Oregon license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED

Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege

Clean background / no malpractice – HIGHLY PREFERRED

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED

Oregon license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED

Clean background / no malpractice – HIGHLY PREFERRED

Self-Query – NPDB (pulled within the month at time of presentation) – REQUIRED

CAQH login and password – REQUIRED AT TIME OF OFFER

DEA – Verbal confirmation REQUIRED AT NAME CLEARANCE
