Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon needed, will accept IMLC

Location: Rhode Island
Closest Airport: Providence, RI
Rate: Daily/Hourly- 8 hour day
Start: ASAP-March, 2024
Expenses: Client will cover all expenses needed
Certs: BC-Cardiovascular/Cardiac Surgery
License: RI, will accept IMLC
Schedule: M-F 7a-530p, Call needed 1 weeknight per week 530p-7a and 1 weekend per month Friday 7a-Monday 7a.
EMR: Epic, paper charting in clinic
Other info: Will accept minimum 1 week/month. Practice setting: Primary need is OR days. Possibly a half day of clinic or no clinic at all during the week. Additional Info:
Any clinic days would depend on the case capabilities of the candidate. Ideally the client needs help for OR days and call for emergencies. Cases would be urgent and emergencies, e.g. dissections. No thoracic surgery needed – CV surgeons only. Cardiac surgery – CABG, valves, dissections, prefer familiarity with insertion of Impella and cannulation for ECMO.
