Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Physician specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our outpatient facility located in Sandy Springs, GA. As a Locum Physician, you will provide essential psychiatric care to children and adolescents, helping them navigate mental health challenges and achieve overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of children and adolescents to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based therapies and medication management when necessary.
Provide therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping and support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using the Epic EMR system.
Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines in all aspects of patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Valid medical license in the state of Georgia, with specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Proven experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Familiarity with Epic EMR system or ability to quickly learn and adapt to new electronic medical record systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients.
