🧠 Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Locum — Saint Vincent Hospital, MA

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA is seeking a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient locum assignment starting September 25, 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a 22-bed acute psychiatric unit within a respected, private hospital affiliated with Tenet Healthcare.

Facility: Saint Vincent Hospital – TPR (MA)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts

Start Date: 9/25/25

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: Clinical hours only (no call)

Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatry

EMR: Cerner

👥 Support & Patient Load
Team: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP

Patients/Day: 10–12

Bed Count: 22

Population: Child & Adolescent

🧪 Clinical Skills & Experience
Preferred Expertise:

Anxiety, affective, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders

Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application

Treatment Modalities:

Pharmacotherapy

Group & family therapy

ECT

📋 Requirements
Board Certification: Required

License: MA or IMLC

DEA: Required

Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
