Role Overview
Gallant Business Solutions is seeking a licensed Neuropsychologist to support the
Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) within secure juvenile detention facilities across Baltimore and surrounding areas. This role provides specialized neuropsychological assessment services to justice-involved youth, supporting clinical decision-making, individualized treatment planning, educational recommendations, and rehabilitation strategies. The Neuropsychologist will deliver highquality evaluations in a structured, multidisciplinary environment where clinical accuracy and clarity directly impact outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, including standardized cognitive, executive functioning, attention, memory, and learning assessments
• Assess and diagnose neurodevelopmental, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions
• Integrate test data, clinical interviews, and collateral information into clear, actionable written reports
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to inform treatment planning,
educational supports, and reentry considerations
• Consult with behavioral health clinicians, medical providers, educators, and facility leadership
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations
• Support quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations

Required Education & Licensure
• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Neuropsychology, or Psychology with a neuropsychology specialization
• Active Maryland psychology license in good standing
• Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship or residency in neuropsychology strongly preferred

Required Experience & Competencies
• Minimum 3 years of direct neuropsychological practice
• Demonstrated experience administering and interpreting a broad battery of neuropsychological assessments
• Strong clinical writing and report-development skills
• Experience working with adolescents or youth populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and complex clinical presentations
• Ability to function effectively within structured, high-accountability environments
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and professional judgment
• Reliable transportation required

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive hourly rate: $90/hour, commensurate with licensure, experience, and
assessment expertise
• PTO eligibility after 90 days
