Shift Type: Days.

Shift Times: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Shift Notes: Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. Evening hours will be required and determined based on program needs.

Weekend Requirements: Some.

On Call Requirements: None.

Pay is dependent on licensing type and years of experience:

Full License: Hourly $28.90 - $38.89.

Limited License: Hourly $26.68 - 35.91.

Position is currently offering a $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS and an incentive opportunity each pay period!


JOB SUMMARY:

It is a Therapist that is needed but they will need to have a masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.

The Adult Behavioral Health SUD Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload consisting of clients, adolescents and adults, with a primary substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis. The therapist is required to conduct intake assessments, to maintain the case record in a timely fashion, to complete authorizations with various funding sources in a timely manner as required, and to conduct appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure Candidates without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire. - Required.

Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.

Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders. - Required.

Must be able to work independently.

Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data accurately and timely.

Must have the ability interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Additional requirements include: cultural competency, the ability to work effectively with a diverse population, the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals and families in a variety of modes of treatment, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers, and a willingness to be flexible.

Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.
