Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Critical Care NP Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide short-term coverage in northern California. This position offers a focused clinical schedule and an opportunity to work within a critical care team.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 2025 or later
• Contract Length: Short-term (4 total workdays)
• Schedule: One day of orientation and three scheduled 12-hour shifts (travel days not included)
• Scheduling Notice: Final dates provided with a 10-day notice
• Floating may be required (transportation coordinated by Aya)

Work Details
• Manage multiple drips
• MDs handle central line insertion
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• License: Active California NP license required
• Board Certification: Yes
• Minimum Experience: Extravertical drain and 2 years of ICU/NCC experience required
• Procedural care ability preferred, but not required
• Travel and lodging are fully coordinated
