New Cardiac APP Opportunity – Baltimore, MD (Start 12/1/25)

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new Cardiac APP opportunity with a site in Baltimore, MD. starting December 1, 2025.

• Start Date: 12/1/2025
• Schedule: 4x12s per week
• Assignment: 3-month block with option to extend
• Patient Ages: Adolescent – Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Cardiac Surgery 1–3; Heart Attack ~5
• Setting: Cardiac Surgery ICU (no OR time, no vein harvesting, no heart transplant patients)
• Requirements:
o Active Maryland License
o 3+ years of cardiac experience
o Must have experience with fresh post-op cardiac surgery patients and ventilator management
o Skills: arterial line insertion & central line insertion
• Team Structure: MICU manages medicine patients; SICU manages surgical patients (except cardiac surgery); Neuro ICU scope evolving (occasionally overlaps SICU).
• EMR: Cerner
