New Cardiac ICU NP Opportunity –Roanake, Virginia – January 2026

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new Cardiac ICU NP opportunity near Roanoke, VA starting January 2026 and are looking for ongoing coverage.


• Start Date: January 2026 (credentialing 100–120 days)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks with the option to extend
• Schedule: Flexible – 3x12s per week on or 7 on/ 7 off
• Shift: 13-hour nights (7 pm – 8 am)
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:
o Write progress notes and provide primary management for immediate postop ICU patients (including thoracic surgery)
o LVAD + ECMO experience required
o Lines optional (if provider wants to keep up skills; intubations handled by Anesthesia)
• Licensing: Preference for Virginia license (willing to license if needed)
• Travel: Airfare, lodging, and car rental covered
