Remote/Hybrid Body Radiologist – San Diego Academic Group (CA License)

Join our high-volume academic radiology group providing flexible remote or hybrid body imaging coverage for a Level 2 trauma center in San Diego. This locum assignment begins as soon as credentialed and runs for at least 3 months. You’ll work Monday–Friday from 8:00 am–5:00 pm Pacific time, covering at least 10 shifts per month, with no call or weekend requirements.

As a body radiologist you’ll read approximately 35 abdominal/pelvic CTs or 60‑65 ultrasound studies per day; MRI volume varies. Daily RVU output ranges from about 56–80 depending on whether you choose remote or on‑site shifts. You may also have the opportunity to support residents and fellows in a busy academic environment.

We’re seeking a board‑certified radiologist with fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging (or equivalent experience) and an active California medical license. The role is open to new graduates who are comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced academic setting. Our practice uses Epic for the EMR, Visage Viewer and Sectra PACS for imaging management, and MModal for dictation.
