New Opportunity Located in North Central NE with Aya Locums: Emergency Medicine NP

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine NP for an ongoing assignment in north central Nebraska. This role includes 24-hour ED coverage in a rural critical access hospital with a mix of temp, temp-to-perm, and permanent options.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January / ASAP
• Contract Length: Ongoing (temp, temp-to-perm, or perm)
• Schedule: ~10 onsite 24-hour shifts per month
• Shift Details: Primary ER call coverage 3–5 days at a time; ~9 patients/day on call days

Work Details
• Support Staff: OB nurses, charge nurses, LPNs, ward staff, radiology and lab onsite; providers on call (not always onsite)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Special Procedures: Surgical assist experience (including C-sections) preferred
• Required Skills: Ability to manage high-acuity, rural ED presentations, Surgical/OB assist experience is a plus

Requirements
• Board Certification: Graduate from accredited NP program
• License: Active Nebraska license (open to licensing)
• DEA: Required
• Minimum Experience: 3+ years Emergency Medicine
