Medical Facilities is looking for PA - Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Yuma, AZ

JOB DESCRIPTION:
ER Discretion
• College of Radiology
• Annual ED volume of 80,000 visits
• 75-bed ED
• 4 PODs
• EMR: Epic
• Level 4 Trauma Center

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
2 years of Emergency Department experience
APP Shifts: 10-and 12-hour shifts
APP Coverage: 39 hours daily NP or PA
Physician Coverage: 69 hours daily
• PA or NP Eligible
• MUST be EM residency trained or ABEM/AOBEM certified/eligible
• Current ACLS is required for ALL clinicians, regardless of Board status
• ACLS, PALS, and current ATLS is required for Board Eligible clinicians. Once board certified only need to show that they were once certified in ATLS and PALS
• Provider must have a clean file and 7 plus shifts available per month.
• All candidates must have met the minimum shift availability listed on the job.
• CV must have all dates in MM/YY to MM/YY format
• Work History must be in Sequential order with most resent-on top
• Any Gaps over 30 days must be explained on the CV
• EPA (Please use the attached EPA. It’s also in Trio under your Name & then click on Help)
• All Licenses, Boards and Certs with expiration dates must be listed on CV
• Anyone with malpractice must provide a NPDB
• Anyone with legal issues must provide supporting documents
Availability
• 1st possible date they would be available?
• How many shifts would they be able for per month?
• What month is their schedule completely open?
• Any shift preferences (Day, Night, Blocks…etc)?
• Any dates in the next 3-6 months they can’t work?
• Any Holidays in the next 3-6 months they would be open to work.?

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• BLS
• Board Certified
