New Opportunity Located in East Central MN with Aya Locums: Emergency Medicine PA

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine PA for an assignment at a critical access hospital in East Central Minnesota, starting April/May 2026.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: April/May 2026
• Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: Monday–Sunday
• Shift Details: Mid shifts starting at noon; 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts available

Work Details
• Support Staff: 24/7 MD support onsite or within a 5-minute drive; additional PA coverage on mid shifts
• Backup Specialties: Family Medicine and ED physicians onsite; telehealth support for cardiology and stroke
• Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages (pediatric to geriatric)
• Trauma Level: IV
• Transfers: Ground ambulance and helipad access to trauma center
• EMR: Medhost and EDIS (primary), Athena (clinic use as needed; training available)
• Skills Required: Emergency ultrasound required

Practice Setting
• Hospital Emergency Department

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Minnesota license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS or CALS
• Certifications Preferred: PALS, APLS
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
