About the clinician's workday
The emergency medicine physician will provide comprehensive emergency care during day and night shifts at a Level III trauma facility. The clinician will work 8 or 12 hour shifts with no call requirements, managing approximately 2 patients per hour. Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred but negotiable, and prescriptive authority is required. The position involves standard emergency medicine procedures and managing diverse emergency department presentations.
