Job Title: Locum Physician-Emergency Medicine
Location: Eureka, CA 95501
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent medical conditions.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans in accordance with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other medical providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly within the Epic EMR system.
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid medical license in the state of California.
Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred, but Board Eligible candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
Proficiency in using the Epic EMR system to document patient encounters.
Availability for scheduled clinical hours on a locum basis.
