Job Title: Locum Physician Emergency Medicine
Location: Inverness, FL

Board Status: Certified
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Evaluate and treat patients with urgency and compassion, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.
Quickly and accurately diagnose and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as necessary.
Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using the Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Participate in regular departmental meetings and educational activities to stay current with best practices and emerging medical knowledge.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Valid and unrestricted Florida medical license.
DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus but not mandatory.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
