Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. As an acute care facility with Magnet® designation for nursing excellence, we are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Must hold a valid Kentucky medical license at the time of presentation.
• Completed Residency in Emergency Medicine from an ACGME or AOA-approved and accredited residency training program.
• Physicians who fall under the "grandfather clause" and were declared board eligible based on 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988 will not qualify.

Certification Requirements:
• Board Eligible: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Board Certified: ACLS.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess and stabilize patients experiencing various medical emergencies.
• Perform medical procedures and interventions as necessary.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.
Requirements:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA-approved and accredited residency training program in Emergency Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted Kentucky medical license.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ACLS certified for board certification).
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration.
