TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Ahoskie, North Carolina. This position offers night shift coverage in a busy community emergency department with strong specialty support, air and ground transport resources, and a collaborative clinical team.

Practice Environment
Community hospital emergency department
15-bed Emergency Department
Approximately 22,250 annual ED visits
Average daily volume of 65 patients
ECU Health Air and Ground Transport available for rapid patient transfers
EPIC EMR
Supportive hospital-based clinical team

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
Stabilize and manage emergency medical conditions
Perform emergency procedures as needed
Coordinate transfers and specialty consultations when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EPIC

Requirements
MD or DO required
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine preferred
Will consider Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with significant Emergency Medicine experience
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
Active North Carolina medical license required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
ATLS certification required
Certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
