Physician needed for acute care, ER work southwest of San Antonio

Job description

• Physician Needed
• Board Certified, Board Eligible, or Previously Boarded in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Must have ATLS, ACLS, and BLS
• Must have active DEA
• Dates needed
o 9th, 10th, 11th, 25th 8a-8p
o 9th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th 8p-8a
• Averages 1-3 patient per hour
• 25 bed facility
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Requires: ACLS, ATLS & PALS.
• Trauma CME Hours: 9 hrs required a year (proof of these will be required for privileging for physicians only)
• Staff Physicians: 3 FP, 1 GS, 2 OB, 2 PD
• Patient Volume: -5%Pedi, 20%Geri, 50%Trauma
• Lab & X-ray available 24 hours
Short term acute care facility
• Travel and lodging arranged by client
• Meals provided
