Houston Freestanding Emergency Medicine Need

Job description

• Open to FP/IM trained physicians as long as they have ample ER experience
• Prefer BC/BE ER physicians
• EMR is EPOWERdoc
• Must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Looking for candidates that will stay on top of their charting and be reliable
• 12 hour shifts 7p - 7a or 7a-7p
• Will see anywhere from 15-20 patients over 24 hour shift
• Working with full support staff
• Respond to life-threatening or serious injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions
• Head, Back, and Neck Injuries, Sports Injuries, Flu Symptoms and Complications, Chest Pain – Heart Attacks, Cuts and Scrapes, Abdominal Pain and Severe Digestive Tract Issues, Orthopedic Issues Including Sprains, Strains, and Broken Bones, Acute Headaches, Stroke, Pediatric Emergencies
• Possible travel and lodging accommodations
