PT Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in WV

Job description

Start Date: July start
Contract Length: ongoing until a perm is hired
Shift Details: 5-6 shifts per month
Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Work Details:
• Support staff: APP’s available 11 am – 11 pm
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5-6 shifts per month
• Patients per day: Approx 28 ppd
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department Description: 25-bed facility, 8-bed ED w/ fast track if needed,
and 4 hallway beds if needed
• EMR: CPSI
• Special procedures: No inpatient rounding needed but must respond to in-
house codes
• Skills required: If not ED boarded they must have 5 years EM experience

Practice Setting:
o Critical Access Facility

Requirements:
• Board Certification: EM Boards preferred
• State license required: WV preferred or IMLC
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• Minimum experience required: If not EM boarded must have 5 years EM experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
