The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine services in a mental health clinic setting, providing primary care to patients of all ages with particular focus on mental health conditions and underserved community needs. Daily responsibilities include managing 12-15 patients during regular business hours from Monday through Friday, conducting thorough patient evaluations, and maintaining accurate medical documentation while working collaboratively with registered nurses, medical assistants, and two other nurse practitioners. The position requires comfort working with mental illness patients and experience serving underserved populations, with walk-in appointments scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and standard lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
