About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a student health center environment. Patient care responsibilities include managing typical primary care cases with patient volumes ranging up to a maximum of 20 patients per day. The clinician will work collaboratively with an on-site interdisciplinary team consisting of LVNs, nurse practitioners, physicians, and medical assistants. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this position, with no call responsibilities.
