FNP/PA – Locum Tenens (Primary Care)
Location: California
Actively seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an immediate locum tenens opportunity in an outpatient primary care setting. This is a high-priority backfill with a fast-moving client.
Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP
Length: 3 months with strong extension potential
Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
One late day per week (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


Setting: Outpatient / FQHC
Patient Volume:

~26 scheduled per day
18–20 patients seen on average

Clinical Scope:

Full-spectrum primary care
Preventive care and wellness visits
Chronic disease management
Medication management
Immunizations

Requirements:

Active California license
Board Certified
Must be Medi-Cal enrolled (required for submission)
Recent primary care experience
FQHC experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience required
Ability to see patients of all ages

Additional Details:

EMR: EPIC
Credentialing: 2–3 weeks
Schedule is fixed (5-day work week required)
Overtime not guaranteed without prior approval
Travel, lodging, and rental covered
Compensation: Negotiable
